HAWAII COMPLIANT CCW COURSE

*Prerequisite: Basic pistol safety course*

IF YOU ALREADY OWN FIREARMS THAT IS ALREADY REGISTERED IN THE STATE OF HAWAII, YOU WILL RECEIVE A (1) BASIC AFFIDAVIT, AND (1) CCW AFFIDAVIT IN THIS CLASS.

This is the necessary class and shooting qualification to apply for your CCW permit in Oahu county. The class is $200. It includes a 4 hour lecture/classroom session with a multiple choice, “closed book” test, at the end, that you MUST pass. It also includes a shooting qualification test at the range that you also MUST pass. If you’re not ready to take the shooting qualification, we will help/coach you while everyone else takes their qualification test. If we can get you shooting good enough to test, then you’ll take your test that day. If we can’t get you shooting good enough to test, you’ll need to test on another day, for an additional $50 due on the day you test. Failure of either or both of the tests will result in failure of the class. But, don’t worry! We will be helping you through everything and our class is very detailed to get you to be “fail safe”. 👍🏼

You will need to provide your own eye and ear protection. You will need to already have a basic pistol safety affidavit. The law says Hunters education NOT ACCEPTABLE instead of the basic pistol safety affidavit. Bring proof of your basic pistol safety affidavit with a valid government issued photo identification. You will need to bring your specific pistol that you plan to qualify and therefore apply with. If you plan to take multiple shooting qualification tests, it will be $50 for every ADDITIONAL pistol (not including the first pistol).

You will need to bring your own:
- Quality concealed carry holster
- Belt
- Garment to conceal your pistol.
- 3 magazines (If you have)

You will need to purchase your own ammunition from the range.

*Class will be from 0800-1400 at Kunia Loa Ridge Farmlands & Live fire shooting test, 1500-1700 at 808 Gun Club.
